Today we say a very fond farewell to Deb, who is finishing up with us after an incredible 15 years.

Throughout her time, Deb has been a valued part of the team, helping our customers with freight bookings and always bringing dedication to her role.

Proudly Partnering with a South Australian Icon

Beerenberg, located in the Adelaide Hills, is a sixth generation, family run food producer who have been in operation since 1839.

They are renowned for their wide array of award-winning quality jams, sauces and gourmet relishes.

Cochrane’s Transport began providing transport services for Beerenberg in 2025.

Utilising our extensive metropolitan fleet, we support the express distribution of product to their South Australian customer base, which includes local supermarkets, eateries, resellers and major distribution centres.

Given the variance in this customer base, our ability to scale and deliver both full truckloads and smaller carton and pallet deliveries is essential to meeting varying customer requirements, whilst providing Beerenberg the ability to service these customers on an overnight basis.

We are proud to partner with such an iconic South Australian brand.🍓

🚚 Holiday Operating Hours

As we head into the fabulous festive season, here’s a quick guide to our operating arrangements over the next two weeks to help with your transport planning.

🎄 Public Holiday Closures

We will be closed on:
• Christmas Day
• Boxing Day
• New Year’s Day

📦 Reduced Operations Friday, 2 January – limited pickup and delivery services will be available.

📍 Adelaide Pickup Service (24–31 December) Please note the following temporary changes:

• All pickups must be booked by phone before 12 pm. No pickups will be made without a phone booking, regardless of usual arrangements.

• All freight must be ready for collection by 1 pm.

• Freight drop‑offs at our Gillman depot are available until 5:30 pm.

🌾 Regional Customers Depot collection and drop‑off services will operate with reduced hours. Please contact your local depot directly for opening times.

🎉 Celebrating Success in Port Pirie! 🎉

Our Port Pirie depot is proud to be the home base of three freshly minted truck drivers Jasmine, Tylar and Michael - shown here with Pirie Depot Manager Sam (L).

These bright trainees have officially graduated with their Certificate III in Logistics and are now recognised as Grade 5 Truck Drivers 🚛👏
