TBS Freight is owned and run by one of our committee members - the brainchild of Jack, partner to Tanya, our Secretary and Treasurer. Growing up in the Mallee, Jack understands first-hand the isolation often faced by farmers, teens, families and communities doing it tough, and how critical timely medical support can be when emergencies strike in remote areas.

As a family, they also understand the added stress of travelling remotely when caring for a child with additional medical needs. They have personally seen the life-saving impact of the Royal Flying Doctor Service, including close friends from Kadina who have relied on RFDS to be flown to Adelaide when it mattered most.

Through Tanya’s strong involvement in youth sport, they also see the pressures young people face - and just how powerful the Backpacks 4 SA Kids Anchor Packs can be in restoring dignity, comfort and a sense of belonging during incredibly challenging times.

The relief, hope and resilience felt by those supported by RFDS and Backpacks 4 SA Kids is immeasurable - and TBS Freight’s continued commitment helps make that support possible.
