From environmental conservation and education to arts and community wellbeing, these projects are helping build stronger, more connected communities.

Congratulations to all recipients - we are proud to partner with you.

We joined the Kwinana Industries Councill Members Forum yesterday to share an update on the Kwinana Bulk Terminal redevelopment project and it was great to see so many organisations involved in the conversation.

While we are still in the project development phase, the redevelopment will be significant for the region, supporting jobs, local businesses and Western Australia’s future trade.

A big focus for us is local participation. We’re keen to work closely with businesses in Kwinana and surrounding areas to make the most of the opportunities ahead.

Thanks to everyone who shared their insights. We're looking forward to continuing the conversation.

Fremantle Ports is proud to support the Watercolour Society of WA Inc through our Community Investment Program. Don’t miss the 4th International Watercolour Exhibition at Customs House 11-23 June.

Over the weekend, Fremantle Ports evacuated all commercial vessels from our harbours as a precaution ahead of severe weather.

These decisions are never taken lightly, but safety always comes first - for our people, the community and everyone on the water. While it might seem unusual, ships are often safer at sea than in port during severe weather.

As conditions begin to ease today, vessels will gradually return and normal operations will resume.

Many in the community made their way to South Mole to watch the dramatic conditions firsthand. It was a powerful reminder of just how strong these weather systems can be. Unfortunately, North Mole has sustained storm damage and will remain closed while repairs are carried out.

Thank you to everyone who followed safety advice over the weekend.

For the latest updates on reopening North Mole, please visit our website.

We were proud to stand 'All in' for reconciliation at today’s National Reconciliation Week Breakfast at Optus Stadium.

In Kwinana, local Noongar man Rueben Hayden Nelson shared powerful truths with our Kwinana Bulk Terminal team, grounding the importance of history and understanding.

This week, across the organisation we’re asking: How will you take action to make change?

After hosting the National Reconciliation Week Breakfast last year at the Fremantle Passenger Terminal, we are proud to build on our commitment to reconciliation by announcing our 2026 partnership with Reconciliation WA .

This partnership continues our commitment to reconciliation - helping to deliver our Innovate Reconciliation Action Plan commitments and drive meaningful outcomes for community:
• more opportunities for Aboriginal businesses
• pathways into education, training and long-term jobs
• deeper, ongoing engagement with Aboriginal communities

As Fremantle Ports delivers major projects and drives the future of trade, we are focused on ensuring the benefits are shared with the communities we work alongside.

Across Fremantle, Kwinana, Cockburn and Rockingham these commitments are being built into how we plan and deliver projects, ensuring growth creates real, lasting outcomes for community.
