Farewell Napier Street, our first-ever brick-and-mortar store 🩵
When we first opened the doors to our Napier Street shop back in 2022, we were a team of just a handful of people (and a pack of furry companions 🐶). We'd been operating out of a single desk in the back of another bike shop, working around the clock just to get our first eBikes on the road. Moving into Napier Street was a huge milestone in the Lug+Carrie history books, marking the moment our big dream finally got a roof of its own.
Flash forward to today, and we genuinely can’t believe how far we’ve come. Together, we’ve saved an incredible 1,193,309 car trips annually 🤯 We've expanded across the country to Sydney and Brisbane, and that tiny team has grown into a family of over 30 legends dedicated to keeping you riding easy (and don't worry, the dogs have officially been relieved of spreadsheet duties).
Tomorrow, we turn the page. Our Melbourne HQ is moving to its beautiful new home on George Street, and we can't wait to welcome you in.
Whether you’ve been riding with us since day one or you've just recently joined the movement, thank you 🫶 We wouldn’t be here without you, and we can’t wait to share this next chapter with you .
