Feedings are from the side of the pool using feeding sticks after the experience. Slots are 10.50, 11.50, 12.50 and 1.50pm.

Located in Sunshine Coast, Queensland Air Museum is the biggest Australian aviation museum.

Open 364 days a year, it is definitely worth dedicating at least half a day to tour the whole place.

Complimentary tours also available if our tour guides are on site.

If you're out Toowoomba way, the Highfields Pioneer Village and Big Cow is a great stop. Lots of displays, buildings, transport museum, fire brigade museum, equipment used to build the Story Bridge. Also had buildings displayed in original form and a cafe to stop and down some scones or damper. All surrounded with colourful flowers all through and around old timber cottages.

So much variety, well worth a look.

We had an amazing day today at Laserzone Lawnton. They currently have the below deal going for the school holidays. The $20 pass included 2 laser tag games, 1 bumper car ride, $10 arcade credit and 1 hour playing classic arcade games. It ended up being around 3 hours of fun. Highly recommend and we’ll definitely be back! Fantastic place to keep the kids busy on a rainy day. The staff were fantastic with the kids, nothing was too much for them. Laserzone Lawnton

A great event today held at the Brisbane Tramway Museum. A few extra sheds open and displays, closing at 7:30pm.

It's the 70th Anniversary event. Plenty of rides to have on each successive make of tram through the ages. Each tram showcasing its upgrades to the one before as the evolution of Brisbane tramming went on, not to mention buses and trolleys.

These events are held occasionally so you haven't completely missed out, and click the link to go to their page to see when trams are running. The kids love it and the history on trams that you never knew about is endless.

There's a few mini railways around to take a ride, the length of ride and quality of the ride can vary. I tell you what, some of the quality engines at the Sunshine Coast Railway Modellers society will blow you away. And to have a couple of true steam powered engines running is a special thing to see. Not to mention the V/Line diesel with realistic sound coming from it.

Great day out, if you can get out and support these types of community events, do. A decent crowd there today enjoying snags off the BBQ. There is a good area of grass to picnic while watching the trains as well.
