We have the great pleasure of hosting a group from the US University of Georgia Warnell School of Forestry and Natural Resources at the moment. This is an annual trip for the students and staff which involves educational visits around Noosa before we transport them up to Hervey Bay for more tours and pick up a second group for Hervey Bay to bring back to Noosa. From what the driver heard on the coach during the trip from the airport to the accommodation the students were excited about the lower drinking age in Australia and their trip to Noosa Main Beach!

WE HELP WITH BIG DONATION TO WOMEN'S REFUGE

We had the privilege of transporting Dragon Boat teams and staff from St Scholastica College in Sydney over the weekend. The teams were up for the 2026 Australian Dragon Boat Championships at Kawana. We organised all their transfers for them, getting them from Brisbane Airport to their accommodation, transporting them to and from the venue during the competition and also taking them to visit Australia Zoo on Friday. We also took a very tired group back to Brissy on Monday night for their return flight - especially Jodie the Head Coach. Great effort Jodie!

When the group left on Monday afternoon to return home they still had quite a bit of food left over from the stay. Our driver Rob suggested that perhaps they would like to donate the left over food to a charity. Rob reached out to the The Hub at Noosa Church about donating the food on behalf of St Scholastica. Rob was able to arrange to drop the food off at The Hub and Jody from The Hub got all the food off to a Women's Refugee in need of resources.

Thanks to Jody and the crew at The Hub for their great work and assistance.

And a special thanks to the coaches and students from St Scholastica's. With these ladies leading the way, the future is in good hands!

We have a client in Gympie who requires a transfer to Brisbane Airport for 7am drop off on the morning of Sunday the 5th of July. We will be doing a return run on Friday July 31 around 10.30am.

And we have room for more people who need to get to either the Domestic or International terminals that day. Or return up the highway on the 31st.

We will be leaving Gympie at around 5.00am and plan to be dropping off at the Domestic and International terminals at around 7am.

We will be stopping at Caltex Traverston for a pick up around 5.15am then headed down the highway past Cooroy, Eumundi and Aussie World.

Join Our Team and See The World! Or at least the best bits of the Sunshine Coast and South East Qld.

Hinter-Coast Transport is located in Eumundi and we are looking for Drivers for our school run and charter coach services. We have work waiting for competent and reliable drivers and we are willing to train up the right individuals to join our Team.

Experienced MR or HR licence holders with a current Drivers Authority would be great. But if you think you have the skills and the desire to learn we can help you get qualified and on the road!

Our drivers usually work between 8 and 20 hours a week so the role suits someone looking for part-time or casual hours. Weekend and night time charters are also available. Please note: There is no opportunity for full-time hours.
