✈️ Ever wondered what all the fuss is about when people turn left on the plane?✈️
If you’re usually an Economy traveller but have secretly been curious about Premium Economy, Business or even First Class, this Qantas Premium Cabin Sale might be the perfect excuse to give it a go.
A few fares that caught my eye:
🌴 Rarotonga from $1,099 return in Business Class
📅 Travel: 23 Jun 2026 – 30 Apr 2027
🇫🇯 Fiji from $1,599 return in Business Class

The thing I hear most from clients after they’ve travelled in a premium cabin for the first time?
“I don’t know if I can go back.” 😂
Whether it’s stretching out in Premium Economy, arriving refreshed after a lie-flat bed in Business, or enjoying the full First Class experience, premium travel isn’t always as far out of reach as people think when these sales come around.
If you’ve been considering a special trip, honeymoon, milestone birthday, retirement celebration, or just want to see what the fuss is about, now is a pretty good time to have a look.
📩 Send me a message and I’ll check what’s available for your dates.
⏰ Sale ends 9 June, unless sold out earlier.
Prices are per person return and subject to availability and conditions at the time of booking. ✈️

🇪🇺 Travelling to Europe soon? Things are changing…
Europe’s new Entry/Exit System (EES) is continuing to roll out, and there’s now an official “Travel to Europe” app available to help eligible travellers pre-register some information before arrival.
📱 The app can allow travellers to:
• Scan passport details
• Submit travel information
• Add fellow travellers
• Complete parts of the border process in advance
At the moment, Sweden is one of the first countries using the system, with more expected to follow as the rollout expands across Europe.
A few important things to know:
✔️ You’ll need a biometric passport
✔️ Your phone needs NFC capability
✔️ The app does NOT replace border checks or guarantee entry
Honestly, this is exactly why I keep saying international travel is getting more complicated behind the scenes — visa systems, border changes, entry requirements and airline rules are shifting constantly now.
I cover updates like this every month in my client newsletter so travellers don’t get caught out halfway through planning a trip ✈️

Well… that was a fun little trip down memory lane 🎙️
Jumped on ABC Radio today chatting all things China… and now I’m fully reminiscing about my time in Beijing.

What a place.
The fashion? Questionable. The food? Sometimes confusing… often incredible. The locals? Keen for a chat, a photo, or both.

Wandering tea houses, getting lost in the Forbidden City, stumbling across dance groups and tai chi in every green space (honestly… some of the most flexible humans I’ve ever seen), weird and wonderful signs, jade shopping… and yes — somehow finding a cold beer on the Great Wall of China 🍺

It’s chaotic, fascinating, a little bit quirky — and completely unforgettable.

If Asia has been sitting on your “maybe one day” list, there’s a bit happening right now…✈️ Qantas have their Asia sale on — think Japan, Hong Kong, Singapore and beyond
🚢 And for my river cruise lovers, the Yangtze River is having a moment — especially for those giving Europe a miss this season
Got the itch? Let’s chat!

Lest we forget ❤️
Every year we show up. Every year it matters.
Ben wearing his medals, Meg wearing Poppy Vince’s — a quiet reminder of where we’ve come from and what’s been given.
Grateful, proud… always.

Back in the office after a short break… and straight back into it ✈️

One thing I’ve quietly built up over the years (and clients know well) is my little Lonely Planet library — a shelf full of well-thumbed, actually-useful guides you can borrow before you travel.

Because let’s be honest…
Glossy brochures look pretty, but they don’t tell you what it actually feels like to be somewhere.

These do.
They’re honest, detailed, and full of the kind of info you only realise you need once you’re there.

Even better — most of these I’ve picked up on my own travels along the way. A much more sustainable (and far more interesting) way to share knowledge than walls of paper brochures no one really reads anyway.

And a few new additions have just landed on the shelf…
Very conveniently timed with the spike in USA enquiries I’ve had over the past month 🇺🇸👀

If you’ve got a trip on the horizon and want to borrow one, just shout — they’re here to be used, not sit pretty.

There’s a bit of noise out there right now 🌍✈️
Fuel, routes, “should we wait?”… I’m getting the questions.

Here’s the calm, honest answer 👇

Travel isn’t stopping.
It’s just… adjusting.

Airlines are already doing the heavy lifting behind the scenes — rerouting, planning, managing fuel. The sky isn’t falling, but it is a time to be a little smarter about how you book.

Right now I’m seeing two types of travellers:
❌ The ones hitting pause and sitting in limbo
✅ The ones moving forward — just with a plan

And that’s the difference.

If you’re travelling this year, it’s not about “should I go?”
It’s about:
→ how you route
→ how you protect your booking
→ and having someone in your corner who’s watching this stuff daily

That’s where I come in.

No panic. No dramatic re-routing across the globe for no reason. Just smart, steady planning that keeps your trip intact.

If you’ve been sitting on an idea or half-planning something… this is your sign to stop overthinking and get a proper plan in place.

I’ve got you 🤍

Travel Update: Iran Conflict – What Travellers Need to Know

I spoke on the news this week about the developing situation in Iran and what it means for Australian travellers.

If you have upcoming travel plans in or around the region, the most important thing is not to panic — but to act promptly and strategically.

Here’s what I’m advising clients:

✈️ Contact your travel agent, airline or tour supplier first.
They are your first line of support and can advise on schedule changes, waivers or rerouting options.

🌏 Follow official government advice.
Monitor updates via Smartraveller and DFAT for the latest travel advisories.

🛡 Review your travel insurance policy carefully.
Most standard policies do not cover acts of war or declared conflict. However, there are specialised policies in the marketplace that can provide broader coverage — and this is where having professional guidance matters.

If you’re unsure about your cover, your risk exposure, or how to protect your investment, please reach out. This is exactly why working with an experienced travel advisor makes a difference.

As always, my priority is helping you travel informed, protected and confident — even in uncertain times.

Ten years ago today I stepped away from cookie cutter travel.. and launched my business!

I’ve grown from the traditional travel world into building something completely independent — something that reflects me, my values, and the way I genuinely love to look after people.

It’s been a decade of growth, learning, and hard work — and life has certainly happened along the way!

To every client who has trusted me with their holidays, their milestone trips, their family adventures — and their memories — thank you. That trust is never lost on me, and I never take it lightly.

Thank you for the referrals, the repeat bookings, and for allowing me to play a small part in some very special chapters of your lives.

10 years. What a privilege 🤍✈️

Thanks Prime for the opportunity to chat travel again!!

The cost of passports have gone up $10 from this year- which doesn’t seem like a lot but it already an expensive document to have issued already.

Holding a passport is a privilege and while they are an investment, it’s a solid form of id to have in hand for everything else we need to prove our identities for!
