A & J Transport is a family-owned and operated crane truck and container transport business, proudly based in East Palmerston and servicing the Cassowary Coast and surrounding regions from Townsville to Port Douglas.

We operate a Hiab crane truck, allowing us to safely and efficiently handle container transport, positioning, and lifting across residential, commercial, rural, and remote sites. Our equipment, combined with hands-on experience, ensures precise placement, smooth operations, and a strong focus on safety and efficiency on every job.

As a locally owned business, we value reliability, clear communication, and quality workmanship. Every job is personally managed, ensuring consistent service standards and attention to detail. We understand that projects don’t always run to a standard schedule, which is why we offer flexible operating hours, including after-hours and urgent jobs by arrangement, to suit your needs.

Our base rate is $100 per hour, with pricing tailored to each job depending on scope, location, and site conditions. We provide transparent pricing and straightforward advice so you can plan with confidence.
