The three-day loop hits the highlights - coastal walks, a lighthouse climb, golf or a bit of nature appreciation rounded out with some good food.

Stretch it to five and you’ll find yourself slowing right down with your biggest decision being whether to read or just stare at the ever changing ocean.

The best days here don’t always go to plan.

King Island doesn’t expect you to race through an itinerary. What it does well is wide open space, clean air and days that go wherever they feel like going.

From world-class surf breaks and excellent fishing to coastal walks, shipwreck history and a gin distillery at the airport, the island has more up its sleeve than most people expect. The trick is leaving space to find it.
