On site at SFM Marine, Fremantle WA, delivering the Cerashield 10-Micron ceramic coating system on 113’ Motor Yacht ‘Hunter’.
Every application begins with meticulous preparation.
Surface decontamination, refinement and gloss restoration to achieve a uniform finish.
A calibrated gloss meter is used to map the surface and develop a system targeting a minimum of 85 gloss units, ensuring consistency across the hull.
Once corrected, the surface is cleaned with Cerashield’s pH neutral degreaser to remove any polishing residues and maximise coating adhesion.
All adjacent areas are carefully masked, including antifoul lines, fittings and fixtures.
CS 10-Micron is a highly durable resin-based ceramic coating.
Applied using our controlled roll and tip method, it levels as it cures to create a deep, mirror like finish.
The coating fills and visually reduces micro marring, locking in elevated gloss.
The result is a durable, UV resistant, hydrophobic layer engineered for the marine environment.
Reduced maintenance. Long term protection. Extended paint life.
Proven globally for over a decade, with more than 150 superyachts coated and counting.
Cerashield is also the only company worldwide with a certified removal process, ensuring no complications when future repairs or refinishing are required.
As manufacturers of our own coatings, we provide reliable long term support from application through lifecycle management.
