This summer, 15 vessels by Norman R. Wright & Sons will arrive at the Australian National Maritime Museum giving you a rare chance to see over a century of Australian boatbuilding on the water and up close.

Built between 1913 and 2010, these boats tell the story of one of Australia’s most respected family boatyards, from classic yachts to working vessels that shaped life on our waterways.

2007 Alaska 38’ Sedan – “Destiny”

Powered by twin Yanmar 315hp diesels with only 640 hours and serviced annually (most recently September 2025), she delivers comfortable performance at 10 knots with a maximum of 22 knots. She is currently out of the water at GCCM for her annual maintenance and the Regatta Marine team will have her back in the water tomorrow.
