Big News... and not the kind I hoped to share

It is with a very heavy and emotional heart that I share this news. Aurora & Luna The Label is closing down.

This has been such an incredibly tough decision—one I’ve gone back and forth on more times than I can count. I have poured so much into trying to keep this little business going… new fabrics, new styles, exclusive prints, sales, giveaways, collaborations, and a brand-new website. But despite all of that, the orders just haven’t been coming through.

On top of that, my Facebook reach has dropped dramatically—most posts are only reaching around 20–50 people. It’s simply not sustainable anymore.

Like so many families right now, I’ve felt the pressure of the rising cost of living, and I completely understand that handmade clothing isn’t at the top of most people’s priorities. I also never want this business to take away from the very reason I started it - to have more time with my girls.

What happens next?
• All current and outstanding orders will be completed.
• I still have fabric preorders arriving and will finish every order tied to them.
• I will not be running any further preorders or new releases.

While I’m stepping back from running Aurora & Luna as a business, I am still more than happy to take on small custom orders from anyone who reaches out. I won’t be actively promoting or operating in a “business” capacity anymore, but if you ever want a special piece made, my inbox is always open.

If you would like to be kept in the loop when I am placing fabric orders or doing the occasional small preorder for customs, please let me know and I can keep you updated privately.

Over the coming weeks, I will be clearing all remaining ready-made stock at significantly reduced prices. Once those pieces are gone, that will truly be the final chapter for Aurora & Luna.

Thank you, truly, for every order, every kind word, every like, comment, and message. Your support has meant more to me than I can ever express, and I’m so grateful for this community.

Prep is in full swing for the Spring Fair next weekend, and I’d love to see some familiar faces there!

The September Preorder is here!

This round is through The Telarie and runs until Saturday, 13th September at 7pm AEST. You can choose from any preorder prints available here: The Telarie Preorder Collection to create any Aurora & Luna styles.

✨ Details to know:
• Turnaround time is 7–9 weeks for fabric to arrive, plus 2–3 weeks for making and posting.
• Full payment is required within 24 hours of receiving your invoice.
• Preorder includes both spring-inspired prints and festive designs — one of the last chances to secure outfits for Christmas photos and special occasions.

We’ll be sharing some of the fabrics you can expect in the preorder soon — including a sneak peek at a few festive favourites. This will be one of the final preorder rounds to secure Christmas outfits in time for the holidays, so if you’ve been planning matching sets or outfits for Santa photos, now’s the moment to get your wishlist ready.
