Here's a little photo dump from the past couple of weeks.
It's been a little more difficult than usual getting them loaded as the financial year comes to an end but we are keeping them moving on a daily basis.

We had a few teething problems with the Western Star with breakdowns and unplanned repairs after adding it to the fleet, but now with our long time very close mate Sam Gray piloting it, things are ticking along well.
Sam is no stranger to highway life and brings with him a wealth experience and knowledge about long distance road transport, can make a mile without any fuss, very reliable and rarely late, he is good with our customers and very easy on our equipment, a welcome addition to WightTrans Pty Ltd

Our Star looking the goods leaving Albury this week heading into Melbourne

Today we expanded our fleet from a one truck operation to two.
The addition of this new truck sees us utilising our single trailer that's been parked since we added the B Double combination.
This cool little unit will be seen operating on a set run between Sydney and Melbourne 5 trips a fortnight.

While we accept it hasn't been ideal timing with the current situation, this is something we've been working on and negotiating well before the world went nuts.
As every other business is doing, we'll shift with it and manage ourselves as best we can to get out the other side.

Today we added a B Double set into our fleet.
We would have liked them to match in with our current colour, however, as a new business its not completely about how the gear matches but more about its reliability to get the job done as cost effectively as possible with minimal downtime.
We know there will be, actually we know there are people sitting in the background being critical of everything we do, its easy being a critic from the drivers seat as an employee in a company truck.
Anyhow, we're proud of what we are doing, and won't change, keep watching because there's more to come ✌🏻

Northbound on the Pacific Highway last week at Halfway Creek heading to Brisbane
