A recent study found that family factors, being in poor physical health or in financial distress have the biggest impact on how likely a heavy vehicle driver is to face psychological distress. This can also impact the way you drive.

NRSPP has developed Toolbox Talk factsheet packages to help you have positive and productive conversations with your employees on topics relating to the heavy vehicle industry.

In the 2025 Green Compact Report, 71% of respondents said they were worried about decarbonisation. These results helped NatRoad pinpoint the issues, barriers and concerns affecting operators across Australia; and we used the responses to call on governments to do more to support our industry.

We are asking operators around the country to complete the 2026 survey to track where trucking operators stand on decarbonisation today.

Every response strengthens the evidence we can take to government and policymakers to push for practical, long-term support.

The short survey (less than 10 minutes) and closes on 31 May 2026. https://web.iru.org/acton/ct/45165/s-0285-2603:0/Bct/l-024e/l-024e:1/ct1_0/1/lu?sid=TV2%3ArleM1Ttcv
