Staff wanted!!

We are looking for people who are proud of Far North Qld and want to show it off to our visitors.
You will require at least an LR driver's license so you can drive guests to various places and give informative commentary and assistance as you go.
An in-depth knowledge of the local area, or a willingness to learn, along with pride in your personal presentation are a must.

Initially, this is a casual position working around five hours per day, two to five days per week, with the potential to become full-time for the right person.

Did you know that Kuranda is home to the largest butterfly exhibit in the Southern Hemisphere?
The Australian Butterfly Sanctuary has over 1500 butterflies and moths, and has been fascinating and educating visitors since 1987.
Australia's largest butterfly, the Cairns Birdwing Butterfly, can be spotted flying around the enclosure.
Make sure to wear bright coloured clothes! (The butterflies are easily attracted to bright colours)

Adding the 3-park pass (Butterfly Sanctuary, Birdworld and Koala Gardens) is a fantastic way to enjoy what Kuranda Village has to offer!

One of our guides managed to film the train arriving at Freshwater station. The Kuranda Scenic operates twice daily, gracefully making its way alongside the mountains and Barron Valley before arriving in the beautiful village of Kuranda.
