Another year wrapped up!
We do a great deal of heavy lifting, but there’s also a good deal of the finer fabrication jobs we take on, including venturing into lethal low-drag moto bars, and a few other brackets and accessories.
Custom Spits and ornamental pieces aren’t outside our scope either, as usually been a great year..
As always a Big BIG thanks to our existing, regular and new customers.
For a small family run business, every one of you are appreciated !
Time for a little R&R, hope you all enjoy your Christmas and sometime off also.

As the last job rolls out the door for the year, we’ll share one last snippet of what’s been happening.
Did a little road trip with the young fella a couple of months back to pick up our new work rig.
A lot more comfort, a lot more power, and extremely well suited to the on-site work we do.
We’d also like to take the opportunity to thank all our customers through the year.
You keep our bills paid and food on our table and we are extremely grateful for that.
We hope you enjoy a great Christmas break and hope to see you all again next year!🍻

Full pressed 5mm aluminium tipper bin and tool box. Built from scratch for our friends at TLC.
With a lot of rules and regulations in relation to weight distribution etc. Trying to optimise available space to incorporate tool box and maximise payload was a decent numbers game, and of course like all our jobs, we always want it to look as sleek as possible.
Looking forward to seeing it all sign written in the new year 👌🏽

Little bit of a photo dump of a few of the jobs carried out over the last 6 months.
Including designing, fabricating and installing a (on-site) weld free balustrade system to bring a low handrail up to current regulations. Had to pull the old boy out of retirement for an extra set of hands. 👍🏼 thanks dad.
Also rebuild of the skypark tie-up box, rebuild and reinforce a ships stabiliser, build and install a traveling gantry, some house construction, aluminium builders trestles and handrails.
I always love the diversity of the jobs we receive and the materials we use.

Little bit of a photo dump and update,
Business as usual, the upper jump deck at cairns skypark is very near completion. I stopped into the silos to install an heavy duty floor hatch and check the place out after sheeting.
Fabricated a nice shiny 3000 litre fish tank frame for a new wildlife attraction opening soon at the pier cairns, and lastly a job I did a few weeks back, mission was to dismantle this mammoth old industrial air conditioning turbine in cairns central, it took 2 night to plasma to liftable size pieces carry out. Tight and extremely limited access. Also needed to have the new aircon up and running for the following business trading after each night.
Was certainly a hot and physically taxing mission, but we got it done💪🏼

Happy new year everyone!!
Hope everyone had an amazing Christmas break! Ours was a little different with cyclone Jasper wreaking havoc around the area. Happy to say all our projects including our workshop survived the torrential rain.
We got flooded in and without power for 7 or so days. But it was yet another reminder of how much a great community we live in up here. Friends and neighbours helping in any way they can 👌🏽
On the work front we’re back at AJ Hacketts to hopefully finish off their new roof and jump deck over the next 2-3 weeks.
Here are a few pics of the extent we can go to to get the job done.

Wet and wild way to wrap up the year!
Jasper had only minor impact on the workshop, and although we were flooded in for 6 days and without power for 8, we consider ourselves extremely lucky.
There were/are many others that will be still struggling to get back to normal through this Christmas. We wish them all the best.
We’d also like to wish a merry Christmas to all our customers, new and old. We hope you have a safe and enjoyable Christmas and can’t wait to see you all next year . 🍻
