After a brief -18 months- hiatus, mostly to regain thd desire to travel again, Van Traax are officially back on the road. New(ish) van, jayco journey with an off road suspension upgrade, and replacement tow vehicle after the Pajero was written off ( 2019 prado) we are heading north to Noosa, first stop is Charlton, everything working perfectly except my tow mirror which folds in if a big truck passes.

After 16 months since selling our Lotus Sprint, we have purchased our next portable home, 20ft Jayco journey, specced up to a serious off roader, cruise master independent suspension, 800w solar, 340a/h lithium, 1500w inverter, compressor fridge. Take possession mid June, we head north mid July.

Fishing off gantheaume beach yesterday, sharks are everywhere, this is a little one, the big ones just take your fish as you reel it in. If you do get a bigger one on your line its a short fight before they break your 80lb line.
