Boat numbers are limited.
River closure is in place. We hope you all enjoy a bit of morning river entertainment.

Tourism operator urges locals to 'holiday at home'

Justin Kelly's Rivergardens Holiday Park in Gol Gol was left almost deserted on New Years Eve after the Victorian Government announced it would close the border to New South Wales.

"We had 300 people here on New Years Eve and 250 left that afternoon," Mr Kelly said.

What was expected to be the busiest summer period for the park in almost two decades, turned into an almost empty park with many cancellations in a matter of hours.

"We've since done a huge promotion to hit all the local government areas that are still allowed to travel within the bubble, because our summer is looking terrible" Mr Kelly said.

"People can still come here from Bendigo, Shepparton, Horsham and can cross over from Wagga, but people are scared to do that because of the uncertainty around these borders."
