Every model we've built. Every internal component. Every change we've made, and why we made it.

That's what the JAM course covers. Not just how to maintain a Jabiru, but how to understand one. The full history, from early models through to the bulletproof Gen 4.

"There's always a bigger fish in the pond."

That's how one of our JAM course attendees put it, and it's a good way to think about what these courses actually are. A room full of experienced engineers picking each other's brains, sharpening what they already know, and learning from the people who designed and built these Aircraft.

Seven aircraft on the field. All serviced in-house.
For operators like this one based at Warwick, the JAM course is about capability. The more you understand what you're working on, the better the outcome for the aircraft and the people flying them. "The more we know the better." Hard to argue with that.

With so many Jabiru Aircraft hangared across Australia, it isn't always possible to take it back to the factory.

That's exactly why we started the Jabiru Approved Maintainers program. The course is for experienced L2 and LAME engineers who maintain Jabiru aircraft around the country.

Don’t miss out on the last JAM (Jabiru Approved Maintainer) course for 2026.

If you hold an L2 or LAME licence and work with Jabiru aircraft, this is for you. The course runs over two days and will have sessions around parts, mechanical and airframe maintenance. It’s also a great opportunity to network with other Maintainers from the Jabiru family.

Becoming a Jabiru Approved Maintainer means direct referrals from the factory, priority technical support, and expedited parts supply.

There are only a few spots remaining in the upcoming course. Watch this video to see what it involves https://youtu.be/NvU8K7YYIUo

The course is only 7 weeks away, call the Jabiru office +61 (07) 4155 1778 to secure your spot today.

Watching it roll onto the tarmac for the first time, there’s nothing else like it.

The team sees every stage of production that most customers will never get to see. But when a finished Jabiru rolls out into the light for the first time, it never gets old.

Flight testing before any customer takes delivery.

Stall testing. VNE runs. Controllability checks. Full instrumentation verification. Then, and only then, the certificate of airworthiness is issued and the aircraft is ready for its new owner.

Before first flight, comes the preflight inspection.

The pre-flight inspection before a new aircraft’s first flight is no formality. Every control deflection, every check, from the moment the fuselage is laid up to the moment it lifts off. The team is around you, but the responsibility is real.
