Occasionally we get asked to do some different things and this one was definitely different. Design and manufacture a lifting tail mechanism for a wearable art project. Congratulations to Robyn and Donna who did all the hard work and created a unique outfit that won the people’s choice award at the 2026 Australian Wearable Art Festival. Photos of original prototypes and finished project. No, we didn’t sew up or fabricate the outfit. That’s way above our skill set.

After 9 years of full time service it was time for a full replacement set of covers on this 48’ ketch. Original covers were manufactured by us back in 2018. Weathermax 80 cloth.

Kore Sails turns 10 this year.
What started as a small sailmaking operation has grown into a business we’re incredibly proud
of. A huge thank you to everyone who has supported us and trusted us to provide your sails and
services over the years.
Over the past decade we’ve focused on doing things properly — thoughtful design, quality
workmanship, and ongoing support. We’ve never relied on advertising; word of mouth has
always been our main source of referrals, which makes your support even more appreciated.
As we reach this milestone, we’re also sharing an important update: Kore Sails is now for
sale.
After 10 years, it feels like the right time to pass the business on to someone who can take it
into its next chapter. Kore Sails has a strong brand, loyal customer base, established systems,
and clear opportunity for future growth.
If you’re interested in continuing what we’ve built, or would like more information, please get in
touch directly.
Here’s to the next chapter for Kore Sails.
