Passenger Notice

During the Easter period Friday 3rd April through till Monday 6th April inclusive, all services will run to the Sunday / Public Holiday Timetable.

Daylight Savings Ends on Sunday 5th April, and

Take note that timetable modifications including elimination of some services and changes to the "Stopping Sequence" of the 6pm weekend service departing Brooklyn will take effect as previously advertised and notified to the public on Monday 6th April

Customer Notification - Timetable Modifications

Commencing Monday 6th April 2026, the following Transport NSW approved timetable modifications will enter into effect.

Removal of the Saturday 7:00am service departing Dangar Island.

Removal of the Weekend / Public Holiday 7:00pm (daylight saving only) service departing Brooklyn

Removal of the Weekday 8:05pm service departing Brooklyn.

Modification / Amendment of Weekend / Public Holiday 6:00pm service departing Brooklyn’s route, which will be replaced by the following stopping sequence. Departs Brooklyn 6:00pm / Little Wobby 6:15pm / Dangar 6.30pm

Passenger Notice, Holiday Period Timetable
December 2025

Dear Passengers

All ferry services during the period Monday 22nd December 2025 through Thursday 1st January 2026 (inclusive) will follow the Public Holiday (Sunday) Timetable, with the exception of Christmas Day.

Christmas Day will be a special event timetable, restricted to 2 Services in the morning and 2 Services in the afternoon, as detailed below.

Morning Services departing Brooklyn at 9:00am and 10:00am (Brooklyn, Wobby, Dangar, Brooklyn)

Afternoon Services departing Brooklyn at 3pm and 4pm (Brooklyn, Dangar, Wobby, Brooklyn)

Note on Christmas Day the stop sequence may vary according to demand. (Little Wobby Beach passengers, please indicate your requirements for services departing Wobby by contacting the ferry service direct prior to Christmas Day, or at boarding in Brooklyn on the day). Please remember ferry staff would also like to enjoy time at home with their families as well.

We are very happy to announce that we have again been the successful tenderer to Transport NSW, and have been awarded a new 8 year contract, to continue to service the needs of the local community, this along with the introduction of Opal on private regional ferry service we believe is a first, we are very proud of this achievement.

Important announcement regarding the introduction of Brooklyn Ferry Service to the OPAL Network, please see transport notices attached.

All passengers will need to ensure they have an active OPAL Card prior to travel, including school children travelling both to and from school, as well as outside school times.

Ferry Notice

For a period of 2 weeks starting on Tuesday 5th August, we will be operating the Ferry Banksia whilst the Ferry Sun is out for annual maintenance.

During this period we will not be transporting any bicycles or large prams etc, folding prams are OK, please keep other personal luggage to a minimum, as available deck space is limited.

Parents of new children, especially boisterous kindy students, you need to ensure that your children follow the directions of our staff, and when offered assistance boarding they accept, the Banksia does not carry a boarding ramp due to the vessels configuration.

All school students are to travel in the forward section of the ferry - not in the rear area.

Under no circumstances are passengers to open or move the plastic curtains enclosing the rear deck, nor can any passenger be on the external area of the vessel whilst underway.
