Over the past week we’ve been ticking off a few favourites and making some new memories.
After finishing the outside 18 at the mini golf in Lakes Entrance — the same place we played 8 months ago when we tackled the inside 18 and said we’d be back — we finally returned… and yes, Casey took the win this time 🏆😅

From there, we cruised up the coast through Eden, Bega, Batemans Bay, and then onto Willinga.
And wow… this horse property is next level. Absolutely stunning, and currently up for sale with a casual price tag of $200 million+ 😳
We’ve been here for the past 5 nights on a showcation — Casey’s been busy showing clients’ horses, while I’ve been doing my bit… relaxing in the pool 😌☀️
Life on the road never disappoints

Update Time for All Our Travel Stalkers (We See You 👀)

So, after flying in from Thailand a few weeks ago, we sprinted home from Brisbane in just 3 days—only to be welcomed back by cold weather, rain, and the kind of wind that slaps you in the face like a grumpy aunt. It was absolutely gross. 10/10 do not recommend.

But I (Casey) had to get home, because for the past month, I’d been deep in Zoom-land, negotiating another International Job Opportunity—complete with fake smiles, awkward time zones, and “Can you hear me now?” moments. 🫠

Once we arrived home, it was go-go-go: printing documents, chasing police checks, taking passport photos (where I look like a stunned criminal), and getting everything sorted for a visa and work permits.

Then boom 💥—a week later, I get the email.
🎉 “Congratulations!” 🎉
Here’s your job contract, starting August 11th. Oh, and by the way, you’ve got 2 days to sign your life away. No pressure!

But after reading the fine print (and the fine print’s fine print), my gut started doing backflips. Some things didn’t sit right, and no matter how shiny the opportunity looked, it just felt... off. So after making a pros and cons list in my head—and the company trying to sweeten the deal—I ended up declining. Twice. Like a boss.

So here we are. It’s been 3 weeks back at home, with Pilates even at full steam.
Just dropped Luke off at the airport—he’s ditching the bad weather and heading back up to Cairns for 3 weeks of dirt bikes, blokes, and Cape York chaos with the NQ crew.

And me? I’m holding down the fort, being a full-time dog mum, and honestly, pretty damn happy with my decision. 🐾💅

Well that was an awesome Thailand getaway!
7 nights of luxury living at a villa in Kamala Beach 🏖️
Scooting around Phuket and surrounds, soaking up the sights

We smashed the street food, wandered the night markets, and ventured down the infamous Bangla Road — where the girls kicked off a few dance-offs and even took over the poles 😄

We were there to celebrate one of my best mate’s 40th and what a week it was!
One of the highlights — we even had our own personal chef come into the villa and cook an incredible 5-course meal for Matty’s birthday dinner 👨‍🍳🍽️ It was absolutely outstanding!

So many laughs, good vibes and unreal memories 🙌

We’ve just landed back in Brisbane after our flight got stuffed around — ended up on 3 different planes to get home 😅✈️ but we made it!

Over the past 3 weeks we’ve also been quietly planning the next big adventure…
AND IT WILLBE REVEALED SOON 😁

Now it’s back into the bus and time to get things rolling again!

THE PRE THAILAND POST CATCH UP!

We’ve been back on the road, rolling out from Mareeba and cruising down the coast through some stunning spots. From Yeppoon to Bundaberg, where we caught up with Casey’s Uncle Bevan, Aunty Naomi, and her cousins — was awesome to spend a couple of nights with them and catch up.

Then it was onto Brisbane for a quick pit stop — three nights to reset, repack, and get ready for our next big adventure… 🇹🇭✈️

Thailand, here we come! 🛵🍜🌅

So while Luke was off Adventuring with his new career, I was lapping up the sun in Cairns.

Spent the week enjoying the pool, esplanade, Botanical Gardens, shopping, sushi train and catching up with Blake Coomber for a cocktail.

With Luke now back, we headed off again with Busbert and the pups. We have a week to continue exploring before we are due in Brisbane to fly out to Thailand.

So after another 2 weeks working for NQ dirt bike tours and another successful tour with this awesome bunch of guys I flew from Bamaga airport into Cairns to reunite with my amazing fiance, our fur kids and Busbert to continue down to Brisbane.
This is a video I made for the crew who made the trip so awesome 😁

Hey hey everyone we are still alive and travelling, we sort of.

After Luke finished up his trial tour with NQ dirt bike adventures, we started to head North slowly towards Brisbane.

Spending the 1st 2 nights at the lovely little town of Babinda. From there we continued down the coast stopping along the way to visit the beautiful Josephine Falls, picturesque Bingil Bay and the Golden Gumboot in Tully. Staying the night at a quiet little free camp at the back of Euramo Pub, where we splurged on Pork Ribs and Bra's off loaded Fries.

Cardwell is definitely a favourite of ours having visited here last trip. The gorgeous scenery makes it the best stop for breakfast. Then we adventure on the bike out to cardwell spa pool for swim in the cool blue water. From there it was off to Toomulla beach where we set up camp for 2 nights and enjoyed relaxing with a spot of fishing with the locals ( croc's, pythons & midgies) where I managed to catch a flathead & Luke got a barracuda.

The destination Townsville was as far as we got. As after leaving Mareeba, Luke got a call from dirt bike tour company asking if he could come back and help out for a few weeks, as they had back to back tours. Of course we couldn't pass it up, so it was agreed we would be back in a week for Luke to start work again. In Townsville we visited The Strand and took a beautiful walk through the botanical garden, stumbling across Turtle Bridge. I've never seen so many turtles in the one place. That night was spent at a beautiful lookout that over looked Townsville, waking up to a spectacular sun rise.

So from Townsville we started heading back up north to Mareeba. Spending a few days at the lovely Blue Water free camp where we met a wonderful couple Roger & Jenny and shared travelling stories. Visited the Frosty Mango for a smoothie, Lucinda for some Cuttlefish bites and scallops by the water. An onto a free camp at Irvinbank, we had heard alot about on our travels. Meeting back up with Finny a great guy we had previously met at Babinda and who had told us about Irvinbank. Where Luke got to pull the DR off and head out with some of the local's on a ride.

Now back at Mareeba and Luke as just finished a week in the shop fixing bikes and setting up for the next Cape York Trip. Luke and the team will roll out tomorrow morning for the tour. While Shermin, Nacho, Busbert & I, head to a lovely resort in Cairns, to drink cocktails by the pool and work on my tan for our trip to Thailand that's coming up!
