Imagine if the world map wasn’t just a list of places… but a giant wall of emotional prescriptions 🌍💊
Because let’s be honest; most couples aren’t Googling “Where should we go?” anymore.
They’re Googling “How do we want to feel?”
Apparently, we’re not alone. Travel research for 2026 shows more people are booking trips based on a vibe or feeling, not a pin on a map.
Think nostalgia, connection, healing, joy, rest… not just “where has the best hotel deal?” (although, “yes please” to that too 😅).
And as couples, this makes SO much sense.
One trip might be about reconnecting; less phones, more eye contact, long dinners and “remember when…” conversations.
Another might be about recovery; burnout is real, life is busy, and sometimes love just needs fresh air, trees, sea breezes and sleep-ins.
Another might come after grief, loss, stress, or a hard season; where you’re not chasing adventure, you’re chasing peace.
We are different people every time we travel.
And couples are different couples every season of life.
That’s why the real question isn’t:
➡️ Where do we want to go?
It’s:
➡️ Why do we want to get away?
➡️ What do we want to feel while we’re there?
➡️ How do we want to come home feeling; closer, lighter, calmer, more in love?
Once you know your why, the map changes.
Suddenly it’s not destinations… it’s prescriptions.
Burnt out? Forests, mountains, slow mornings.
Disconnected? Romantic cities, shared experiences, places that invite conversation.
Healing? Blue spaces, quiet cultures, gentle days with no pressure to “do it all”.
This is where travel becomes more than a holiday.
It becomes intentional.
Supportive.
Transformational.
And this is exactly why I do what I do. Helping couples slow down, understand their why, and match it with a destination and experience that actually gives them what they need, not just a pretty Instagram photo.
So tell me…
If travel was a prescription right now, what would yours say? 💕✈️
