May was one of those months where we somehow managed to be absolutely everywhere, all at once 🌪️✨
In no particular order…
Stones Corner Festival came roaring back for its 11th year with Rogue Traders, line dancing and a crowd ready to party. Paniyiri Greek Festival took over Brisbane with all the glorious chaos that comes with it, from event logistics and crowd wrangling to sneaking in a dance or two during Zorba Til You Drop.
We spread a little Mother's Day joy at King Street with anthuriums in hand, watched live portraits come to life in The Common at West Village, and even helped bring a little buzz to the neighbourhood with West Village kicking off Honey For Life!
Our cameras spent some quality time with Explore Fish Lane favourites Julius Pizzeria, Hello Please and Maeve Wine for Queensland Day, while Paniyiri also made a surprise appearance in Fish Lane because, apparently, one festival wasn't enough 😉🇬🇷
Across Brisbane, we rolled out a stack of Brisbane City Council campaigns through Wilston Village, Stones Corner Village, Hawthorne Village and Wynnum Town Centre, with Bald Hills now firmly in our sights.
Customs House Brisbane popped up their V***e Clicquot Winter Domes, now here for a limited time only, with some of the most fabulous views of the Brisbane River and even better plates to pair (if you haven’t dined in an igloo before, you’re missing out).
Meanwhile, the Best of Brisbane crew was out doing what they do best: celebrating the opening of Never Enough, diving into the new menu at Monal Dining and generally making ‘research’ look suspiciously like fun.
And finally, after months of reminding us that she’s packing her bags and leaving us for Europe, Abbie finally packed her bags… and left us for Europe. We're trying not to take it personally 💔
Same again next month?
