💙 In Loving Memory of Elise Lonsdale 💙
It is with profound sadness that we share the passing of one of our valued clients and cherished members of the Blue Diamond Transfers family, Elise Lonsdale, who passed away on Friday, 5 June 2026.
Elise was far more than a client. She was a bright, bubbly and inspirational woman whose positivity, kindness and determination left a lasting impression on everyone fortunate enough to know her.
A passionate advocate for the vision-impaired community, Elise dedicated countless hours to promoting accessibility, inclusion and equal opportunity. Her work in accessible technology and her unwavering belief that anything could be achieved inspired so many people to dream bigger, aim higher and never allow barriers to define them.
Elise had an infectious love of life and a genuine travel bug. She embraced every journey with enthusiasm, curiosity and courage, always seeing possibilities where others saw obstacles. Her adventures and achievements were a testament to her resilience and determination.
At Blue Diamond Transfers, we were privileged to support Elise on many of those journeys. She was a passionate supporter of accessible transport and strongly advocated for the rights of vision-impaired travellers and those travelling with guide and seeing eye dogs. Her feedback, encouragement and trust helped us continue improving the services we provide to passengers who rely on safe, accessible and inclusive transport.
More importantly, Elise touched lives. Her kind-hearted nature, warm smile, sense of humour and genuine care for others made a difference wherever she went. She inspired people from all walks of life and reminded us all that with determination, courage and a positive outlook, anything is possible.
On behalf of everyone at Blue Diamond Transfers, we extend our deepest condolences to Elise's family, friends and the many people whose lives she enriched.
