Attention parents/ guardians with high school students travelling on the S520 service.

Transport for NSW are implementing changes to our route as of the 26th May. This will only affect Rutherford Technology High School Students. Transport for NSW are now requesting any RTHS to utilise the CDC 2712 service which will now drop students at “Alexandra Avenue after Weblands Street (232097).

Dear Parents,

Just a reminder the moratorium period ends Friday the 28th February. It is crucial that students are enrolled for ‘School Student Transport Scheme (SSTS)’ by this date. The moratorium allows eligible students who have not yet received a student bus pass to receive one and continue catching transport services in the meantime.

Bus passes can be applied for via https://www.gracecoaches.com.au/school-services, at the bottom of the page there is a link “How to apply and update school transport services”. Please make sure ‘Grace Coaches’ is selected as the operator.

With the amazing response from our recent route expansion into Huntlee Estate on S522, we have had to amend our timetable to meet the large number of students embarking within the Estate. These changes will come into effect as of the first day, Term 1 2025. These changes will only affect Huntlee Estate, all other times remain the same. Grace Coaches is a family owned and operated bus company currently seeking an experienced Coach Driver to join our expanding team. This position is permanent and will be based at our Hunter Valley depot. This job opening includes a relocation package (if applicable).

As a coach driver you will be expected to operate services on behalf of Grace Coaches. These services include, but not limited to corporate transfers, Scheduled Train Replacement, Emergency Train Replacement, general charters as well as interstate transport.
This role is open to all candidates, regardless of location. Grace Coaches is offering relocation packages to help assist candidates. The details of these packages can be discussed upon application.

The role
The successful applicant will have:
· A minimum of 2 years experience operating coaches

· Deliver professional and prompt transport services to out customers
· Accurately complete procedures such as driver logs and time records
· Always conduct safe work practises
· Always well presented
· Positive, willing attitude
· Appropriately carry out pre-departure checks

Hours of work
The successful applicant must be flexible to work various shifts-including weekends, weekdays and night shifts.

After some hard work and approval from Transport for NSW, Grace Coaches is entering Huntlee Estate starting TERM 4 2024.

These changes will be for the AM only and there will be no changes to the current timetable. We will allow a 2 week ‘grace’ period for the bus stop outside of Huntlee Estate, this bus stop will cease to exist following the 25th October 2024. The additional stops will be:

During the first 2 weeks of term 4, students will be able to utilise our services without a bus pass, however one must be applied for during this time.
