I'm outta here, but don't think I'm done gallivanting just yet, I'll be back in Canada in 2 months with three of my travel buddies in crime. We'll be taking in the sights and sounds on an Alaskan inside cruise and the Rocky mountaineer. To those who followed my travels, I hope you had as much fun as I did. Thanks for all the comments, it was a blast. I’m looking forward to getting back to the cafe, with a heap of new ideas, so keep a look out on Louie’s artisan cafe page for what’s coming up.

I winged my way into Barcelona late Saturday afternoon, and taking off Monday lunch, I'm ruing the fact I didn't hang around for a couple more days. What a jaw-dropper of a city - a cert for the bucket list. Sightseeing took a backseat, as fate would have it Mick and Linda (mates from the tour circuit) were in town too. We whiled away hours in the gothic quarter, sipping, snacking and making merry with gelatos.😋🍷🍧
I did manage a visit to the famous Sagrada Família. Just wow. 😮
Now it’s time to get organised for my flight back to Brisbane. Honestly squealing with excitement to see everyone.❤️

Let's just say I won't be getting a prize for 'most adventurous solo cruiser' anytime soon. A week might be doable, but three weeks is just too much. I've decided to cut my losses and bail on the cruise in Athens, then fly to Barcelona and head home next week. I'm not blaming the cruise, the staff, or the food - they've all been amazing. I think I'm just all holidayed out. I'm really looking forward to seeing the family and getting back to Louie's Cafe - I've got a ton of new food ideas to try out. 😊

Time to get organised to catch the cruise today 🤗 21 days, then off to Venice for a few days, then home. It has been an amazing 6 weeks, but looking forward to getting home seeing family, and getting back to the shop and being creative with all the new food I have sampled. 🤗

A bit of retail therapy before tomorrow's Rome highlights tour could be just what I need. This might prove to be a costly endeavor 🥴. Today is a bank holiday, and the Roman attractions are swarming with tourists, so this seems like a more leisurely alternative lol.
