Denison Canal – Fender and Waler Replacement

Fender and Waler replacement work at Denison Canal will begin on Monday, 5 August 2024 and are expected to be completed by mid-October. Hours of operation will be Monday to Friday, 0830 to 1630 hours.

The planned works at Denison Canal "will not affect the transiting of vessels on the weekends.

During these works, mariners wanting to use the canal will need to book into one of three daily scheduled openings. Available transit times are listed below:

• 0800 to 0830 hours
• 1200 to 1230 hours
• 1630 hours to 1700 hours

To book into a transit, please call the Canal Superintendent on 6253 5113.

Been giving the trailer a bit of loving with the help of Curt Badham engineering who I must say is a professional at what he does with the help of his Son Corey and myself have spent a few days over hauling new air bags and ride hight valve new guards Curt rebuilt the rear of the trailer with new doors which was well over due still got a bit to do in next few weeks as I get time definitely a great improvement well over due thanks Curt and Corey
