After a few years of storage, our 1979 Denning performed faultlessly on its trip up to Busfest in Sydney yesterday (Sun 20/9/26). It was great to see so many historic private buses on display.

My highlights were Glenorie Coaches black Denning (pictured), Newcombe Gloucester Austral Denning Highlander, the old Ulladulla Buslines Mercedes 1621 and Edison’s Leyland Leopard PMC rebody with GM engine out of a rail car.

If you’re like us and love buses, then the Sydney Bus Museum’s Busfest is the place to be this Sunday 20/9/26. Around 70 buses old and new will be attending this annual event, including our 1979 Denning Denair.

A rarely seen Denning is the Berry Bus Service Denning Denair from 1979. This amazing vehicle was last seen at Busfest in 2019 and returns this year as part of our Denning theme.

DA743 was new to Rowes at Plumpton and also served with Pearce Omnibus at Valley Heights and Heffner’s Coaches at West Wyalong before passing to Berry Bus Service in 2018.

A little bit of rain hasn’t spoiled a beautiful week in Berry!

During the week we transported a lovely group of international visitors from Sydney down to Kangaroo Valley Bush Retreat, a highlight being wombat spotting along the scenic backroads of KV. On Saturday the sun came out just at the right time for Ellen and Steve’s wedding ceremony at the picturesque Willow Farm, Berry.

We are lucky to work with some beautiful venues in the local area 🌳 💐 🦘

Dusk at “Australia’s Prettiest Street” - Tasman Drive in Gerringong. This once quiet street overlooking Werri Beach has gone viral and now takes in large crowds of tourists every day. Back on 22 Feb 2019 we posed our old Hino no 027 in the same spot - no one in sight on that day 😎
