Some great aviation news to start 2024:
new direct international flights to CBR!

Canberra Airport has announced the launch of a new direct route between Canberra and Denpasar commencing on 14 June 2024 in partnership with Indonesian based carrier, Batik Air under the Lion Group. Batik Air is a full-service airline of the Lion Air Group.

The new route will be operating three times weekly between Denpasar and Canberra.

This direct flight between Bali and Canberra will greatly benefit holiday seekers from Canberran and the region. The route also presents a great opportunity to connect the Canberra region to South-East Asia for leisure, trade and education.

I welcome Canberra Airport’s work with the ACT Government to make it easier and cheaper to Visit Canberra.
