MANNING RIVER REGION – MC DRIVER REQUIRED
Taree and surrounding areas

Are you looking for a job with a regular routine and the opportunity to drive the same truck each shift? We may have the perfect position for you!

AJM Transport is seeking a permanent MC driver to start and finish each shift in Taree.

This is an excellent opportunity for a reliable and experienced driver with a positive, can-do attitude.

The role includes:

• Departing Taree at approximately 2:30pm
• Travelling to Sydney to drop off and collect trailers from the same location
• No loading or unloading required
• Returning to Taree, where another driver will continue with the truck and trailers to Coffs Harbour and Grafton
• Completing daily pre-departure checks and reporting any issues to our Maintenance Manager
• Bringing the truck through our Beresfield depot as directed for washing, fuel and AdBlue
• Keeping the truck’s interior clean and tidy
• Working cooperatively with the other driver sharing the vehicle

To be successful, you will need:

• A current MC licence
• Proven Roadranger experience
• A professional presentation and positive attitude
• Reliability and the ability to work well with others
• A strong commitment to safety and looking after equipment

💙 HEALTHY HEADS, STRONGER TOGETHER 💙

Yesterday, we were proud to welcome the Healthy Heads in Trucks & Sheds Road Show to AJM Transport Beresfield.

It was a fantastic afternoon filled with practical resources, interactive activities and most importantly, honest conversations about mental health and wellbeing within our industry.

Transport can be a demanding game. Long hours, time away from family and the everyday pressures of keeping Australia moving can all take their toll. That’s why it’s so important to check in with your mates, speak up when things aren’t right and remember that asking for help is a sign of strength not weakness.

A simple “How are you really going?” could make a bigger difference than you realise.

A massive thankyou to Healthy Heads in Trucks & Sheds and Geotab for visiting our team and continuing to shine a light on mental health across the transport industry.
