Our Story

Bendigo Marine World kicked into gear in November 2003. Trevor & Donna Yates bought the business in 2011. In 2014 Bendigo Marine World relocated to a new highway fronted premise in Epsom. Shortly after the relocation we added the much respected brand Husqvarna to our collection of enviable brands - offering quality sales and service of power equipment including mowers, chainsaws and ride-on tractors. Due to this diversity of product we changed our trading name to Bendigo Marine & Outdoors. Our drive and passion has helped our business to grow from a one man operation into a thriving marine store with nine dedicated employees. This was recognised with an award from Quintrex at the 2007 Quintrex National Dealer Conference, where Bendigo Marine World was awarded the Sales Excellence award for Victoria/Tasmania. Since then we have also won the Quintrex Victoria/Tasmania Dealer of the Year 2016/2117 and then again in 2018/2019. We were also ranked in the top 25 Mercury dealers in Australia for 2006. Our commitment to supporting local fishing and sporting clubs is something that we have taken great pride in from day one.
