For years I refused to travelled on public holidays, I couldn’t stand the hecticness of the traffic, the rushed energy, the frustrated vibes for the sake of spending a short time away only to repeat the process getting back home right upon going back to work feeling exhausted.

We’ve made choices to accommodate The Boiz loving their school experience, seeing the growth in themselves in so many ways, we comprise and so that we travel part-time,; that opportunity does come within public and school holidays.
It’s what many families do, now we understand.
To be honest, it’s a bit of a mental game, its a bit more organisation for the car ride in case of the mishaps or delays.

After a freeway dinner dash and a trip not to complain about really, we arrived to our destination on the full moon rising. That moment when you think in the midst of setting up
“We’re here”. It was worth every bit of rushed packing to feel the warmth sunrise this morning.

~ WE GOT WEIGHED ~

RMS approved weigh bridge here in the Hawkesbury NSW.
Huge amount of space for turning vehicles.
They do anything, cars to semi trailers.
Cost for my car and caravan was $80
(WINNING 🤑)
No line ups, easy call & make a booking -
a human answered the phone 😲 🙌
The weigh was approx 15mins, but also, the time spent with me to discuss and help improve my load in the van for better weight distribution.
I couldn’t be happier!!

3 years ago I created Ladie Tradie Australia not too long after I moved to the Hawkesbury with my 2 sons.
I have always been vocal about my journey as an independent Mum of 2 young boiz, as I want to try to inspire and motivate other solo parents out there in life and in business.
This chapter has bought with it so many life lessons, not to mention the CHALLENGES that I have faced, mainly physically, on my own.
With the support of great family and friends throughout this time, they have helped me become the proud, strong woman and Mum I am today and will continue to be.
There was a person we met back then who helped me when I needed it and became a friend (‘Farmer Chris’) to the boiz, all the while none of us knowing what part he would play in our lives in the years to come.
Fast forward to to now, and I am excited to say we have begun to share our lives together, while fully supporting me, my dreams and my independence.
In ‘Farmers Chris’s’ words -
“I will stand beside you in everything you set out to do & wish to achieve; till, at any point you ask me stand in front”.
Thank you for loving us Farmer Chris, we absolutely love you too x

A year this month working on our car and the set up.
I’ve come to realise there isn’t an end date to working on 4x4’s - it’s a forever experience, expense and passion 😆
