Please note that final orders for 2023 delivery should be placed with our Customer Service team no later than 2.00 pm (EDST) as detailed below:

Monday December 11: Queensland, non-metro New South Wales
and Tasmanian customers

Tuesday December 13: South Australian customers

Thursday December 14: Metro Sydney and non-metro Victorian customers

Monday December 18: Metro Melbourne customers.

We also wish to advise that our distribution, sales and customer service will be closing from noon on Friday December 22 and we will be re-opening on Monday January 8, 2024 (please note there will no deliveries during this time).

Did you know that today, October 25, is World Pasta Day?

World Pasta Day was first celebrated in 1995, when pasta producers from across the world held the very first World Pasta Congress in Rome, Italy - of course!

Some interesting facts about pasta which might help at your next trivia night includes;
- There are approximately 600 different shapes of pasta
- The 3 most popular are penne, macaroni and spaghetti
- Pasta was originally eaten plain or sprinkled with sugar and cinnamon
- Around the 1700s, tomato sauce was added and has become a staple classic
- The City of Naples lays claims to creating the first lasagne dish

In the Melbourne sunshine this morning, we took some time out to acknowledge the importance of R U OK? day and the important work which supports this initiative.

For several years now, Confoil has recognised the importance of the day and the importance of checking in on the well-being of our co-workers and friends. This year, we enjoyed a coffee and some sweet treats. We also took the opportunity to recognise some of our long serving employees - thank you to everyone involved and remember the simple question of R U OK? can change a life.

This month, Confoil is turning 57!

In 1966, Confoil was founded by friends Jim McEwen, Ken Strickland and Alan Henderson. For the last 57 years, Confoil has been a 100% family owned Australian business, a unique position which in today’s era, we are honoured to hold.
