The Huntsman had made itself at home inside the mirror, and neither the spider nor our staff member was too happy about this discovery during the cleaning process. 😂

Meet Chico.

Now, before you start questioning our hiring standards… rest assured, our human staff are a little more hardworking. 😂

Our team spends their days driving long distances, helping hikers, juggling food drops, answering lots of questions, solving last-minute problems and making sure everything runs smoothly out on the Larapinta Trail.

Chico, on the other hand, excels in
😴 Sleeping on the job
👀 Supervising from a distance
🦴 Taking extended lunch breaks
🐾 Providing absolutely no assistance whatsoever

Still, he’s pretty good at keeping morale high… so we’ll let him keep his job. 😉

BLOOD, SWEAT & TEARS… but make it botanical.

Meet the Bloodwood. 🌳
Its name comes from the dark red sap it produces when the tree is damaged - which looks a lot like blood.
The sweat? That’s yours.
The tears? Also yours…once the hike’s over and it’s time to say goodbye 😉
