With broken hearts, Whitsunday Airport (Shute Harbour) extend our deepest condolences and love to Gyan, and to both Nick and Gyan’s family, friends, and staff.
We feel incredibly fortunate to have known Nick for many years. Watching what he built and achieved in such a short time has been a true privilege, and we are immensely proud of everything he created.
Nick’s caring nature, positive energy, and the constant support he offered to everyone around him played a huge part in his success. Combined with his long hours and deep love for aviation, it was a remarkable balance that defined who he was.
Gyan, please know the entire Whitsunday Airport family is here for you - whatever you need, day or night.
Nick, you leave us with beautiful memories, endless laughs, countless jokes, and plenty of hugs - all of which will be deeply missed (even the hugs). To our beautiful friend, family member, colleague and passionate spotter, may you rest in peace. You truly were one in a million.
“Once you have tasted flight, you will forever walk the earth with your eyes turned skyward.”
