The Shanghai region has been plunged into more lockdowns with the Chinese government pursuing a Covid zero policy. This is affecting all air and sea freight movement out of Shanghai along with strict restrictions that have been placed on trucking in the region. Please read on for further details:

Australia will be seeing more flights from November 1st, however it is likely we will not see any rate decreases in November as the additional flights whilst welcomed will not be significant, the demand for air freight to Australia continues unabated so the extra capacity will be taken up very quickly.

MUA Industrial Action continues: The ocean freight challenges we are all experiencing are difficult enough, but it is going to be further stressed with the ongoing industrial action from the Maritime Union of Australia (MUA).
