KI Cartage are currently looking for an enthusiastic and motivated truck driver to join our team working out of Penneshaw.
Applicants must have MR license and either have or be willing to obtain a forklift license and current police clearance.
Job roll will include on island deliveries and day trips to the mainland, must be available to work 2-3 days per week, 20-30 hours.

Tad late in posting these pictures, it was a very busy end to the week! On Thursday we loaded up our truck with donations, and planned on delivering them that night. Unfortunately the fires flared up and the road into Kingscote was closed. Huge thanks to Penneshaw IGA for holding the pallet of super fresh fruit and veg overnight for us - this pallet was kindly donated by Lovin it Fresh Fruit & Veg. Other donations included a pallet of cat food donated by Safcol Australia, a massive amount of supplies donated by the general public, and a huge pallet of Red Bull that was donated to the CFS and delivered to our depot by Bevchain Logistics.

Massive thanks to Daniel Schweiger - Subaru WRX, and Rapid Haulage, who have very kindly offered to help us out today and take a heap of the pallets full of Donations for the fire releif over to Kangaroo Island and deliver them to Island care in Kingsote.

South Australia you are amazing! This is just some of the donations we have received and have been delivered into Kingscote this morning for the victims of the bush fires! It is so awesome to see what a community can do, as most of this is individual donations from the public. Special thanks to Mount Lofty Springs in Wingfield for the donation of 2 pallets of water!

*Update, We have spoken to the Relief coordinator today and they indicated they have enough clothing and bedding.

*Supplies still needed,
Bottled drinking water
Long life milk
Non perishable food items
Dry Dog and Cat food
Toiletries/ sanitary products and Toilet Paper
Nappies and baby formula
Hand Tools and tools required for fencing

KI Cartage will be accepting donations and transporting them to Kingscote for the bushfire relief. All donations are welcome, however we think that drinking water and non perishable food items (including animal food) is what is needed most.

Our thoughts are with everyone that has been affected by the fire.
