📸 Looking for race photos?

Our MTB Photos Linktree is regularly updated with galleries from races and events across the season, covering multiple clubs and photographers that we hear about along the way 🙌

If you're hunting for photos from the weekend, make sure you check out the galleries from:
📷 Dave M
📷 Arthur and Kieron Nolan
📸 Dead Sailors Society

A huge thank you to all the photographers who give up their weekends to stand out on the trails, in the dust, mud, rain and sunshine to capture these incredible moments for our community ❤️

If you love a photo, please make sure you're purchasing it and always crediting the photographer when you share it. Supporting photographers helps ensure they can keep coming back to events and creating the amazing images we all enjoy.

If you know of a photographer or gallery we've missed, send the club a message and we'll add it to the Linktree 🤘

Thank you to everyone who has jumped onto the Volunteer portal and signed up early to help out at Angaston!!! We still have plenty of spots to fill for the weekend.

The more roles we fill before race day:
✅ the smoother the event runs
✅ less scrambling on the day
✅ the more our volunteer crew can actually enjoy the weekend too

Because if spots stay empty, the committee end up filling them (or wrangling in people) while also trying to run the event and support their loved ones who are racing!

This weekend especially the committee crew is a bit light on. Caravan Crew legend Leonie is going to be absolutely flat out:
📋 regos
📻 caravan comms
🙌 managing and supporting volunteers
☕ coordinating coffee deliveries to our superstar Commissaire

Not sure what the volunteer jobs actually involve? Here’s a quick rundown of the roles we still need help filling:

🏁 Marshall
Help keep riders safe and get one of the best views of the racing action.

🐈 Start Controller (“Cat Herder”)
Release riders from the start line so the timing crew can focus on race management. So fun... so organised chaos

🚲 Transport Loader
Help load bikes onto trailers for uplift. Not hard — and you’ll casually handle more money in bike form than most people ever will

🚙 Shuttle 4WD Driver
Just a normal car licence needed this round. Tow bikes up the hill while riders use their legs. BONUS: one of the few jobs where you stay dry if weather hits.

⏱️ Timing Helper (Sunday Afternoon)
Help remove transponders at the finish line and watch riders roll in grinning and celebrating with their mates

Volunteering is honestly one of the best parts of the weekend:
🤘 community
🤘 contribution
🤘 supporting riders and families
🤘 being part of the crew

And if you’re nervous about volunteering — message us (or visit caravan on race weekend). We’ll happily answer questions, explain jobs properly or anything else that might be getting in the way.

Behind every race weekend is an army of absolute legends making it happen 🙌

If you’re heading to Angaston we’d LOVE you to jump onto the volunteer portal and sign up before the weekend.

Getting volunteer spots sorted early means:
✅ less scrambling on race days
✅ less pressure on organisers trying to fill marshal spots
✅ smoother racing for everyone
✅ more time for volunteers to actually enjoy the weekend too

Plus… volunteering at these events is genuinely one of the best parts of the community 🤘
You meet people.
You support riders and families.
You become part of the crew that makes the whole weekend happen.

And if you’re new to volunteering — don’t stress. You’ll be supported, shown what to do, welcomed properly, and very appreciated ❤️

Bonus: Signing up through the volunteer portal also earns volunteer points 👀

Thank you to all our volunteers - this community simply wouldn’t exist without the people who give their time to it. Can you spot our volunteer committee members Leonie and Emma in the AusCycling National Volunteer Week post?!

This National Volunteer Week we’re celebrating the people who keep clubs rolling right across the country.

From timing and marshalling to coaching, working bees and canteen shifts, thank you for everything you do for cycling ⭐

State R3 - racing a brand new track on private property in Angaston - Race entries close midnight Sunday!

Racing entries: https://entryboss.cc/races/29779
Camping entries: https://entryboss.cc/races/30664

For those camping Saturday night… things are getting serious 👀

Our volunteer committee legends Marc and Leonie are officially throwing down in the first ever (possibly annual) Inside Line Mulled Wine Taste Off.

Will Leonie’s family recipe take the crown?
Or will Marc somehow pull off the upset victory?

Most importantly: Will we manage to create an actual trophy before judging begins? 🏆😅

Come camp with us Saturday night, grab a taste (18+ only), and help decide who earns eternal mulled wine glory.

Could it be the beginning of a proud new tradition… come help us decide 🤘

Last year’s minibike race at Angaston was absolute chaos… so naturally we’re doing it again 😅🔥

Mini bikes. Camping. Racing. Fires. Questionable mechanical decisions. Peak weekend energy.

We wanna see the prep starting already 👀

Show us:
🏕️ your camping setup
🏍️ your minibike rig
🎨 your race outfit
🛠️ the garage chaos
🍻 the crew getting ready

Chuck your photos/videos in the comments or tag us in your stories/posts so we can share them 🤘

⏰ REGO CLOSES SUNDAY NIGHT ⏰

If you’ve been on the fence about this one — this is your sign to lock it in.

Angaston is always one of the best weekends of the season:
🔥 Private property riding
🏕️ On-site camping
🌄 Unreal views and tracks
🍔 Saturday night BBQ
🍻 Food & drinks available both days
😂 Legendary mini bike racing Saturday night

Yeah, it’s a bit further from Adelaide…
…but everyone who goes knows it’s absolutely worth the trip.

Load up the bikes, bring your mates, stay the night and make a weekend of it 🤘

The mini bike races alone are worth showing up for — pure chaos, maximum heckling, and somehow the highlight of the season every single year.
