We’ve been off the socials for quite a while - almost a year in fact….. but we’ve been busy building and fixing boats. GOLDFINGER has just had a full deck refurb - stripped back to bare, resurfaced and lovingly revarnished…. Layer after layer after layer…..

And just like…. It’s all over!
Had a fantastic weekend at the Australian Wooden Boat Festival!
A huge thanks to Anastasia and Dave from for having me onboard for the festival - I was so busy enjoying myself I almost forgot to take any photos.
So here we are after the the final sail with a few wandering minstrels looking for one last chance to bust out tune. Thanks see you in 2027!

In preparation for sealing the fwd buoyancy tank. Luke has installed the mast step with a drainage channel that keeps the tank water tight.

Flash back Friday….. earlier this year on the Norwalk Island Sharpie 26.…… cockpit and lockers all framed and deck down. Get a layer of glass sheathing in the morning with a little extra warmth to help those winter temps before an afternoon screed of filler.

YES - He is supposed to cut it in half!!!! The Chameleon nesting pram designed by Danny Greene. You can see I’m the third pic how the fwd section ‘nests’ inside the aft - making for less space required to store on deck of your cruising vessel.
