⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 4 stars (out of 5).

Set up from last week’s stay at Wallaroo Holiday Park, SA. We’ve visited this caravan park before and had a good experience.
This time, we had booked late so understandably we got what we could get, a non-powered site. All good, we’re set up for off-grid camping. The park has fantastic amenities blocks, some of the best I’ve used, super clean and new, huge camp kitchen with great facilities. The other powered sites have gravel. There’s a small petting zoo for the kids and the beach is a short walk, as the park faces it.

The negative… overcrowding on the unpowered area. They clearly overbooked as our camping companions had to squeeze in with us on our “site”. Other campers also arrived with no where to set up at all. We were all told “just set up wherever, as there’s no designated sites”. 🙄 and they also allowed large fishing boats to park there when there was a designated boat carpark.
Would recommend the park, just don’t book on the unpowered section in my opinion 💁🏻‍♀️

External anderson plug complete, 11amps from this 200w Exotronic portable folding panel. Along with the 2x 200w on the roof we now have ~33 amps of input in optimum conditions. 😎

Next: solar to recharge the 200amp lithium when off grid. 2x 200w Exotronic panels from Solar 4 RVs. Sikaflex 292i used ...

Next: solar to recharge the 200amp lithium when off grid. 2x 200w Exotronic panels from Solar 4 RVs. Sikaflex 292i used to adhere them to the roof with the aluminum brackets. 292i is not cheap but it’s used to glue marine boats together, and is widely used in the rv industry for its structural strength when glueing panels to roofs. External side anderson point as well for a extra 200w Exotronic folding panel. Total of 600w and ~33amps of charging when off grid.

Next: swap the reading lights for reading lights with usb. Easy way for extra charge points with out running more wire 🙃
