They ask me, “Why do you love your job?”
I always answer: Because I don’t work a single day in my life.
And what I do, I don’t do for money.
Yes, it’s true.
One of my most important values as a guide-driver in Dilijan, Armenia is supporting and promoting local businesses. They don’t pay me to talk about them. I recommend them because I genuinely believe that discovering Armenia is not only about visiting famous sights — it’s also about meeting local people, tasting local products, and supporting the small businesses that make our communities special.
When I talk about them, I feel like I’m talking about my own business.
One of them is Acol Wine Factory in Dilijan. It reminds me of my childhood, when we made wine from almost anything we could find — grapes, berries, fruits… whatever the season gave us.
That’s the Armenia I love showing my guests.
Not just places to see, but stories, people, food, wine and real local life.
