Al Ghazal Transport brought its people together for a refreshing shift in perspective through the “Day Beyond The Desk” initiative, hosted at Radisson Blu Hotel & Resort, Abu Dhabi Corniche. Administrative employees and the leadership team stepped away from their routine workspaces to collaborate in a dynamic offsite setting—laptops open, ideas flowing, and connections strengthening.

Our General Manager, El Amir Aly Sweilam , addressed the team with a message of reassurance and appreciation, emphasizing stability and confidence as we navigate the current landscape. Adding depth to the experience, Ahmed El Deeb, SPHRI, MBA, Head of HR & Admin, led a session on “Leading Under Pressure with High Impact,” introducing the C.A.L.M model as a practical guide to managing challenges effectively. The day was further energized with interactive activities, designed to strengthen teamwork and elevate leadership communication.

On World Day for Safety and Health at Work, our HSEQ team turned the spotlight on Driver Ergonomics and Safety—because every journey begins with the well-being of our drivers.
For all our drivers in UAE, our HSEQ officers conducted focused awareness sessions, reinforcing simple yet critical practices that make a lasting difference on the road. The key points discussed were:
Driver Ergonomics
• Adjust your seat to comfortably reach the pedals
• Keep your back well supported
• Position the steering wheel within easy reach
• Set mirrors to avoid unnecessary body twisting
• Keep your feet flat and relaxed
Seat Belt Safety
• Always wear a seat belt properly
• Ensure the shoulder belt rests across the chest (not under the arm)
• Position the lap belt low on the hips (not the stomach)
• Make sure the belt is snug and securely fastened
Because safety isn’t just a policy—it’s a responsibility we drive every day. 🚛
