Most charter yachts stop at 12 guests. That is a legal cap on the flag and the licence, not a choice we make.

A few countries allow more. Croatia clears the way for up to 30 by day and 40 overnight on the bigger boats, which run like small cruise ships. Greece licenses a number of yachts for more than 12, usually up to 20. Turkey builds its gulets with big groups in mind and handles them comfortably.

So a group bigger than 12 is not a problem. It just points the map at Croatia, Greece or Turkey.

Mykonos, three options, small to large.

A Fairline Phantom 43 at 13.2 metres is the smallest of the three and the easy one for a first day out, with a flybridge and shaded seating for the hours when the sun is high.

ESTE at 13.6 metres is the same idea with a little more room, saloon out of the sun, galley aboard and a proper bathroom so nobody is planning the day around getting back to shore.

Then 007, a 20 metre Sunseeker, 12 guests and a crew of three. This is the one people ask for most.
