Increasing fertilizer movement through limited alternative Gulf export routes
Rising pressure on truck availability and inland cargo coordination
Longer border queues and slower cargo clearance cycles

The pressure is no longer just on supply.
Itโ€™s on accessibility.

Hereโ€™s whatโ€™s happening on the ground.

13/05/2026

The pressure is shifting from storage โ†’ to distribution readiness.
As planting demand accelerates,
fertilizer must move beyond storage and into inland markets โ€” fast.

The pressure is no longer just on storage.
Itโ€™s on accessibility.

The challenge now is turning bulk cargo into distributable inland flow.

Increasing movement of fertilizer in 1-ton and 50kg formats
โ€ข Growing urgency for rapid bulk โ†’ breakbulk conversion
Faster inland dispatch to position cargo closer to agricultural demand
Storage facilities acting as temporary staging and bagging hubs
Greater pressure on truck movement and inland distribution coordination

Recent pressure indicators are accelerating operational urgency across the supply chain:
โ€ข Tanker freight: +90% since February
Bunker fuel: nearly 2x
Select routes: +600% freight increases
War-risk insurance: elevated across key corridors

Increasing pressure to reduce vessel time at berth
Ports reaching the limits of fixed discharge capability
Faster push of cargo inland to avoid further congestion buildup
โ€ข Growing demand for direct vessel โ†’ truck discharge operations
โ€ข Increased urgency for rapid bulk โ†’ bagged conversion

Deploy mobile and adaptable discharge solutions alongside fixed infrastructure
โ€ข Increase direct vessel โ†’ truck movement capability
โ€ข Strengthen rapid bulk โ†’ breakbulk conversion
Build operations that can scale with cargo pressure in real time

When pressure builds across the supply chain,
IMGS Group adapts where movement matters most.

cargo is arriving quicker than it can be absorbed inland.

Faster vessel discharge creating immediate cargo pressure

Storage is no longer passive infrastructure.
itโ€™s the control point of the supply chain.
Traditional storage cannot scale at the speed this market demands.
The bottleneck has moved inland.

Deploy storage capacity where flow is building โ€” not where it used to be
Use ground silo / bunker systems for rapid, scalable absorption
Position storage between port discharge and inland corridors
โ€ข Integrate storage with bulk โ†’ breakbulk conversion

At IMGS Group, we donโ€™t wait for capacity โ€”

Because today, the advantage isnโ€™t just how you move cargo
its how fast you absorb it.
