The ‘Dubai Shipping Soccer Cup’ was held on Saturday 14 Feb 2026 at JSS School ground, Al Wasl, Dubai, UAE.
The Tournament was organized by EXIM LINE SHIPPING in association with CAPELINE SHIPPING sponsored by other leading Shipping companies namely, BARCOLINE, CAPE OCEAN, NAVIO, WANEX, SEA ROUTE, VUDIX, MULTIFACE, BAIDALA, INTERGLOBE, SEASIDE, NUCLEUS GROUP & VINOD SHETTY-MANGALORE.
More than Soccer, it was an event filled with lots of enthusiasm, thrilling moments and exchange of industrial cooperation, where Twenty shipping companies from UAE came together with their talented players and supporters to make it one of the most memorable Football tournaments held in Dubai.
The teams participated in the tournament were ABBRECO, BARCOLINE, GLOBELINK, LONE STAR, SEA ROUTE, GULF FIRST, WORLD ZONE, GTZ, X-PRESS FEEDERS, GANGES, CAPELINE, CSS, FAST LOGISTICS, VENTURA, GSM, NAVIO, EXIM LINE, GALEON, LANCIA & DDP FREIGHT.
It was a great privilege to have the honorable guests Mr. Ahmed Saleh from Dubai Police, Mr. Iqbal Habtoor, Major Dr. Omar Muhamed, Mr. Sayyed Shahul Maliga & Dr. Sagar Anilbhai Shah revealing the Trophies and greeting the players and officials during the matches.
The crowd witnessed some of the best talented skills in Football and were overwhelmed by the way it was conducted. There were officials intervening between arguments for solutions and medic attending to injured personnel abruptly making sure the event went smoothly. Team Captains made sure that their team participated in the true spirit of Sportsmanship and showed professionalism during the matches.
All the teams were rewarded with participation mementos apart from Man of the Match awards in each match and also Best player trophies at various positions. Team X-PRESS FEEDERS were awarded with ‘Fair play’ trophy, while Team GTZ Shipping became the ‘Runners-Up’ and Team EXIMLINE Shipping winning the well-deserved ‘Champions’ trophy in the Tournament.
The event will definitely mark in the Sporting history of Dubai and will continue with more participating teams and spectators in the years to come.
