With ongoing instability in parts of the Middle East, we’re receiving many questions about insurance coverage for 𝐦𝐨𝐯𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐨𝐫 𝐬𝐭𝐨𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐡𝐨𝐮𝐬𝐞𝐡𝐨𝐥𝐝 𝐠𝐨𝐨𝐝𝐬 𝐢𝐧 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐨𝐮𝐭 𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐫𝐞𝐠𝐢𝐨𝐧.

It’s important to understand the distinction between standard moving and storage insurance and war risk coverage.

War risk terms, premiums, and geographic applicability can change quickly in volatile environments.

In response to the escalating regional security situation following coordinated US-Israeli military strikes on Iran on 28 February 2026, and subsequent Iranian retaliatory actions targeting Gulf states hosting US military assets, Move One is closely monitoring all logistics operations across the Middle East.

The following update reflects the current operational status at key logistics points as of 2 March 2026. Please note that this situation remains highly fluid and conditions may change with little or no advance notice. We will continue to issue updates as the situation develops.

Due to escalating regional tensions and conflicts, several Middle East countries have implemented precautionary safety measures, including shelter-in-place advisories, school closures, and remote working guidance.

Missile and drone activity has been reported against military installations in Qatar, UAE, Bahrain, Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, Iraq, Oman, and Jordan, with an ongoing risk of further incidents. While borders remain open, several airspaces have been temporarily closed or restricted.

These developments may cause delays or rescheduling of in-person mobility services such as property viewings, government appointments, and inspections, and potential delays in immigration processing timelines.
