Fast Link LLC was founded in 2002 with the vision to build a leading position in the market of mobile phone products in the Middle East and Africa. The founding Partners have a strong background in the sector, with more than 50 years combined experience and still manage the day-to-day operations of the Company. With a strong financial base (audited by Ernst and Young since 2003), and supported by
excellent logistics and operational systems, the Company has expanded into other non-core, added value areas of mobile phone product retail and servicing, through both organic growth and through acquisition and partnership. The outlook for the Sector in the Middle East, and GCC states is very positive through to 2013. Despite a minor downturn in the market in 2009, sales have stabilised in 2010 and positive growth is forecasted through to 2013. The sector will also experience improved revenues and margins driven by the increasing pe*******on of Smart Phones, which by 2013 will account for almost 50% of sales in Fast Link’s core markets, and will generate year-on-year market growth of 16%. The Company has a growth strategy developed around its core business and operating strengths and will expand its geographical reach and its retail and service centres while adding new products to its offering. Through this strategy the company will continue its agressive top-line growth while protecting and improving its EBITA profit margins.
