Home again and home as champions. 🏆🐎
After a remarkable run at the Salon du Cheval d’El Jadida, all 21 Arabian horses have touched back down safely at Sharjah, completing their round trip with Equitrans from takeoff to homecoming. 🇦🇪

There’s a particular kind of satisfaction in this moment: watching horses we flew out step back onto home soil, calm, sound and well, after everything they achieved in Morocco - 12 wins across 18 classes, Championship titles among them.

Welcome home, champions. You did us all proud. 🌍

What can you actually pack for your horse’s flight? 🧳🐴

It’s one of the most common questions we’re asked.
The short version: nothing travels loose in the stall. No tack, no feed, no rugs, no bags. For safety in the air, the space stays clear, anything you’re sending with your horse travels separately, shipped on its own air waybill. ✈️

A few things that can’t fly in the stall at all:
🚫 Feed, supplements or treats
🚫 Veterinary supplies
🚫 Electronic or battery-powered items
🚫 Tack, rugs and equipment (these ship separately)

From Argentina to Dubai - the Polo Ponies have landed 🐴🇦🇷➡️🇦🇪
On 10 October, we welcomed 26 polo ponies into Dubai World Central (DWC), flown all the way from Buenos Aires (EZE) ahead of the UAE polo season. 🏇

Argentina is the undisputed heartland of world-class polo, home to some of the finest ponies in the sport. Bred and trained for agility, speed, stamina and responsiveness, these are extraordinary equine athletes, because polo asks for something special: explosive acceleration, sharp turns, split-second changes of direction, and a deep partnership between horse and rider.

Bringing 26 of them safely across the world is exactly the kind of operation we’re built for.

👀 One thing you might spot in the videos: each pony wears a white neck strap. With teams travelling in such large numbers, these neck tags let handlers and vets identify and track every animal at a glance, working alongside each pony’s microchip to keep the whole group accounted for, every step of the way.

Racing, showjumping, endurance, dressage, polo - different disciplines, different destinations, the same commitment to exceptional equine care. 🤍

What’s on the in-flight menu? 🐴🌾

Before departure, horses are given a light feed rather than a full one. It keeps them settled without overloading the digestive system, an important step in reducing the risk of colic on a journey where movement is limited.

Once in the air, it’s all about hay and water. Horses have steady access to hay throughout the flight and are offered water regularly to keep them hydrated, while hard feed is kept off the menu until they’ve safely arrived and settled.

It’s a simple routine, but a carefully considered one, because comfort in the air starts with what’s in front of them. 🤍

To shoe or not to shoe? 🐴🧲

It’s one of the questions we get asked before a flight and the answer often surprises people.

When a horse travels by air, we’ll often recommend removing the shoes, particularly on the hind feet. It makes a difference to safety, both for the horse and for the flight grooms caring for them at 40,000 feet. ✈️

In the close quarters of a flight stall, a shod hoof carries more risk - to the horse itself, to travelling companions, and to the team working alongside them throughout the journey. Taking the hinds off reduces that risk considerably, without affecting the horse’s comfort in the air.

As with everything we do, it comes down to one thing: every decision, right down to the shoes, is made with welfare first. 🤍

A proud moment for us and our team 🏆🐎

We’re honoured to announce that we have been appointed Official Shipping Agent for the FEI Endurance World Championship 2026 🇦🇪

This December, the eyes of the endurance world turn to the UAE, as the Butheeb International Endurance Village, just outside Abu Dhabi, welcomes the world’s best horses and riders for the sport’s biggest championship.

Running from 14 to 20 December, with the championship ride on the 19th, it’s a celebration of endurance riding and a moment of pride for the region.

For us, it’s a privilege to play our part behind the scenes, doing what we do best: making sure horses travel safely, calmly and in peak condition, ready to compete at the very highest level.

Follow the Journey: Sissi’s big move 🐴✈️

Meet Sissi, who’s swapping the cooler air of Germany for a new chapter here in the UAE. 🇩🇪➡️🇦🇪

Her journey began in Cologne, setting off by road across the border to Amsterdam, one of Europe’s key departure points for horses heading overseas. From there, she boarded her flight to Dubai, travelling in the calm, careful hands of our flight grooms the whole way. 🌍

And right now? Sissi is settling in at quarantine in Meydan - resting, eating well, and getting used to the warm Dubai days ahead. This is where every long journey slows down for a moment: a quiet, comfortable stay before she’s finally cleared to start her new life here. 🌿
