Wow, what a whirlwind 3 months! I didn't plan on having a baby and experiencing regional conflict at the same time 🙈 particularly being self-employed in travel. The industry has been hit hard I'm sure you can imagine!

BUT, I'm slowly coming back after maternity leave. I'm excited to get stuck into things and have been missing work and my lovely customers!

I’ve been incredibly lucky to have such a brilliant team around me. My fellow Travel Counsellors have looked after my customers with so much care, which has been invaluable particularly at the moment while many travel plans are affected for us here in the UAE. Thank you all ❤️

December 2025 🤍
The month our little boy finally arrived… after keeping us waiting 12 days past his due date (clearly very comfy 😅)!

The first couple of weeks at home have been a total whirlwind of happy tears, tired tears, overwhelm tears… all of it!

We’ve been so lucky with fab hospital care and the friends around us dropping off frozen meals, gifts helping around the house, holding him so we could rest, we are very grateful!

Somehow we even made it out for Christmas dinner on zero sleep when he was just 7 days old (no idea how 😆). He got a lot of attention… already a ladies’ man 😉

Attempting matching pyjama family photos was an epic fail. In every attempt, one of us is crying, sleeping or fed up 🙈

Massive shoutout to Tom, who has been unreal 🥹 dreading him going back to work! 😫

It’s also been a busy time for my lovely customers travelling. I’m so lucky to be part of an amazing Travel Counsellors team who’ve been taking great care of everyone. If you’re planning your next trip, do shout and my team will happily help ✈️🤍

One of my favourite months - perfect weather, everyone still around before their December travels, and this year felt extra special as we get ready for our December arrival 👶🏻🤍

The gym has honestly made me feel so much better throughout my whole pregnancy. I know every pregnancy is different, and I feel really lucky that I’ve been able to keep moving, even on days when it was just something light!

It’s helped with fatigue, nausea and soreness, but also kept my mind sharper and my energy steadier. I’m convinced it’s played a big role in October being my best month in business so far!

My gym membership’s run out now (perfect timing at nearly 39 weeks 😅), so I’ve swapped weights for walks in this amazing Dubai weather and some gentle garden workouts.
